New Season, New Euphoria
Chennai Sepak Takraw League founded by a bunch of visionaries in 2008 is back for its 2009 version with increased number of teams participating in the REGU Event. This time the tournament features 8 teams and is all set to be the model for the event for years to come. The teams will include the four teams from the previous edition along with 4 new teams. CSTL 2008, the debut version which concluded recently in june 2009 featured 4 teams participating in Regu, Team and Doubles events. CSTL board went back to the drawing board to analyse the pros and cons of the event in 2008 and now has come up with this new version. The new season, CSTL 2009, will certainly exceed the expectations.

Tamilnadu has won gold medal in the National Junior Championship held in Kohima,Nagaland in DOUBLES event beating Manipur in a 3 set final.It is the first doubles event in Juniors.The players are:Ramalingam,Ganesh P,Ganesh R.We have also won the Bronze in Team event beating AP in hardline.Missed gold due to small mistakes.

Pool:TN,AP,Delhi,Haryana,Chandigarh,UP-Won all
Lost to Nagaland in Semis.
Doubles:No loss
Regu:Lost to Delhi in Quarterfinal.

i really thank baju na to contribute the money for the 7 th psg tech trophy 2012,it will be conducted soon.i hope this time some of the psg tech players will get selected for the tamilnadu team.i really thank our recent pass out players ajay,bala,murali,who teach this game for the past 3 years.
